when families need a safe and productive venue for their children. Beginning September 9th daily,
Monday through Friday, we will be open 9am thru 4pm (early drop-off 8am and late pick-up 5pm) for
students grades K-9.
Our professional staff is on site to accommodate and coordinate student studies any particular day. Of
course, we can intersperse chess instruction and play as a reward when assignments are completed.
You may just drop in unannounced any day but we can better serve the daily classs if we know who will
be showing up any particular day. This can work even better if we know what (weekly) schedule your
student(s) will be following. Please work with us as this new concept evolves.
We ask parents to provide us with a checklist of what needs to be accomplished that day, and the
materials (text, paper, notebook, chrome book, calculator, etc.) to support that effort.
Costs:
full day 9am-4pm - $57
half day 9am-12-30pm or 12:30pm-4pm - $30
Members please apply your 30% discount: full day $40, half day $21
Bring a lunch if you are staying a full day
Of course, we need to abide by the latest COVID recommendations: Temperature monitoring for daily
entry (don't show up if you feel sick) --- masks worn all day --- social distancing while studying ---
frequent hand washing & sanitizing encouraged --- daily sanitizing of tables and frequently touched
knobs, switches, etc. --- any used chess sets, boards, and clocks set aside for 5 days.
