In recognition of Women’s History Month, the Rochester Chess Center presents:

The 18th Annual
Women's History Month Invitational
coming March of 2026

This is our eighteenth annual all-women's chess tournament, continuing a second decade of recognizing the female chess enthusiast.  It is being staged to celebrate the women who have blazed trails in this male-dominated sport and to encourage all those who follow in their steps in any field to support and mentor other women.   To help support and promote this role-modeling, this open tournament welcomes women of all ages to participate.

Who: Open to all girls and women ONLY
    Sections:  K-4, K-6, K-12, and adult

When: Registration runs 8:30-9:30am; games start at 9:45; break at 12:00;
two or three rounds follow with awards to be presented around 3:30pm.

Where: Rochester Chess Center, 221 Norris Dr., Rochester (near Cobbs Hill Park).

Entry Fees:  $8 by Thursday before event; $10 same day/onsite.
50% discount for any participants in this year’s Interscholastic Chess Leagues or Chess Center members.
